Selling

Sell your Samsung Galaxy or Android phone.

From a Samsung Galaxy S series or Z Fold to a Google Pixel or another Android phone, tell Philly Phone Exchange what you’re ready to sell. We review used and damaged-device inquiries individually.

Find the exact Android model

Check Settings → About phone for the model name or model number. Menus vary by manufacturer and Android version. Galaxy S, Galaxy A, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Fold devices can have different generations and storage options; the exact identifier makes your inquiry more useful.

For Google Pixel and other Android brands, include the brand, generation, storage size, and whether it is a carrier version. If you’re unsure, write what you can find and we’ll help identify it.

What to check before requesting a review

  • Check charging, cameras, microphone, speaker, and fingerprint sensor.
  • Describe display burn-in, dead pixels, cracks, or touch-screen faults.
  • For folding phones, mention hinge movement, inner-screen marks, and whether the display opens fully.
  • Tell us about repairs, liquid exposure, battery issues, and missing accessories.

Google accounts, Samsung accounts, and reset protection

Back up first. When preparing an Android phone for transfer, remove accounts according to the manufacturer’s instructions before resetting through Settings. Google device protection can require the previous account after a reset. Simply wiping the phone through recovery mode is not a substitute for removing your account properly.

A managed work phone may also have company restrictions. Ask your organization to release it if you are authorized to sell it. We do not bypass ownership or account locks.
